A job transfer brought Jim Ullrich and his family to East Tennessee in the late 70s, and another job transfer was about to move him again, but his fondness for this area and the Knoxville community kept him here. So in his desire to “put down roots,” he started Ullrich Printing in 1979.

Ullrich Printing has been involved in the Knoxville community over the years, and Jim’s family has been involved in Ullrich Printing from the beginning. So when Jim decided to retire after 20 years, his youngest son Peter knew he wanted to continue the quality for the customer and the concern for the community that Jim taught all his children. So in 1997 he bought the company and started the second generation of leadership.
